KIT KAT wanted to provide a fitting venue for a non-traditional gift on Valentine’s Day.
Agency created an engaging Facebook activity where users can give unique gifts to their loved ones in the form of fully-customized Valentine cards which were delivered via e-mail and wall post. To add a viral component, cards were included in a digital raffle only if these cards were viewed by the intended recipients.
Through KIT KAT’s fanpage that generated 40,000+ fans, 11,386 cards were sent out and the Brand received positive reactions on the campaign. On a year-on-year comparison, KIT KAT sales volume doubled during the campaign period.
